We had fun in FOSS.my 2009

We had a BOF session, lead by Shima. Like last year, we also had Pia Waugh who totally rocked the session. We discussed the issues faced in bringing together all females in open source/IT and what can the guys do in helping out the community to grow.

Many new faces showed up at this year's conference. And many showed interests in helping out. We are totally reenergized and ready to take on the next year!

A very visible increase in female FOSS.my participants has led to new faces in our BOF session. They are all have been sent out an invitation to join our mailing list. Further discussions on meetups or dinners will be held there.
